Straight From Check-In Day

Fitness myths I hear every week.

These come up in client check-ins all the time. Here's what I actually tell them, straight from my check-in videos.

Myth01

Up 2kg overnight? That's fat.

Truth

It's water and food still in your gut. A kilo of fat is roughly 7,700 calories, so a jump that fast can't be fat.

“You physically can't gain 3 kilos of fat in a few days.”
Myth02

One cheat meal ruins the week.

Truth

One meal shifts one day. The other six are still doing their job.

“That one day you might land at maintenance. The rest of the week you're still in a deficit.”
Myth03

Scale's not moving, so nothing's happening.

Truth

If you're training hard and eating your protein, your body can change while the scale sits still. Photos and measurements tell the truth.

“The scale might not be dropping, but you definitely are.”
Myth04

Tracking has to be perfect.

Truth

A rough number beats a blank every time. The bad days are the ones that most need logging.

“Who gives a shit if it's not 100% accurate? Log it anyway.”
